Press Hit: YNN Austin does feature on KMFA’s “Kids Recording Kids” summer camp

On June 27, YNN Austin did a TV shoot at the KMFA studios for a feature on KMFA Classically Austin’s “Kids Recording Kids” summer camp after I pitched them with a media advisory. Reporter Jess Mitchell filmed live segments during the 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. news hours. In addition, an edited compilation piece was aired every 30 minutes for 24 hours on YNN.

You can see a write up about the TV segment on YNN’s website here!

Press Hit: Austin American-Statesman publishes a story from my KMFA Classical 89.5 press release!

On June 7, the Austin American-Statesman ran a story in the print edition of their newspaper that came from a press release I wrote and sent on behalf of KMFA Classically Austin. It was published on the front page of the Movies & Life (Arts) section of the paper. The Statesman also ran the story in the online edition of the paper on June 6.

Luke Quinton wrote the article about a young pianist from Cedar Park who will be part of National Public Radio‘s “From the Top” recording at Texas State University on June 8. The article includes an interview with the young pianist and with Christopher O’Riley, the host of “From the Top.”
